Welcome to Galatas6 – A Catholic business listing service for your home parish

Galatas6 is a Catholic business listing service for practicing Catholics to support fellow Catholic parishioners. Just as the purpose of a building is reflected in its architecture, the Catholic principle of subsidiarity is reflected in the architecture of Galatas6. Our platform enables users to search for goods and services from their home parish and then their local metropolitan area.

Our goal at Galatas6:

  1. Easy and User-Friendly service: To offer an intuitive platform that makes it simple for Catholics to discover goods and services provided by local Catholic-owned businesses.
  2. Financial Independence: To create a robust customer base that will enable Catholic owned businesses to support their families. We don’t want them to just survive, but to truly thrive.
  3. My parishioner first: Whenever a Catholic needs a good or service, their first instinct is to see if they can find a Catholic owned business at their home parish via Galatas6.com

Services

Galatas6 is a free service for the Church and Catholic families. Free for users and free for businesses. However, we do appreciate our sponsors. We offer three tiers of listings to cater to all needs. All listings get one home parish, business contact details, and service descriptions. The three listing services are:

  • Free Listing: This is our commitment to the Church and to Catholic families. Free to list your business!
  • Cristero Sponsor: Thank you for your support. Featured listings in one home parish, up to 2 regions, and logo placement.
  • Christus Rex Sponsor: Thank you for your support. This level provides prominent placement in search results, logo display, and listings in up to 3 regions.

As a benefit to all of our businesses, we strive to have a Traditional Latin Mass offered each month for the success and well-being of our listed busineses.

How to get started

If you are interested in adding your business on Galatas6, follow these steps:

  1. To add a business listing, you must have a Google account. We rely on Google to do the security and authentication. Once you have added your Google account, go to your region and then select “add a business.”
  2. You will be prompted to review and agree to our terms, privacy policy and the Galatas 6 pledge.
  3. Select a plan level. Then you will be directed to make payment via our payment processor, Stripe. Once the payment is completed you will be returned to Galatas6 and prompted to fill out your business listing.
    1. NB: Not all regions and parishes are currently listed. If your current region and/or home parish is not listed. Select the “not listed” in the drop-down and we will update it in our database and update your listing to the proper region and home parish.
  4. We will review the business listings and reach out if there are any questions or concerns. Our SLA (Service Level Agreement) is 48 hours. Sponsors have access to support: joey@galatas6.com
  5. We have some basic analytics that the business owner may view. Currently, they show the number of times the business listing was viewed, and the number of times the contact information was clicked. It is our commitment to continue to better and add features and functionality to the site.
  6. All subscriptions are for 1 year from the date of processing with Stripe. The features may change without notice, however we will make good effort to notify listers of any upcoming changes.

Disclaimers and Policies

  • Galatas6 operates independently from the parishes listed, which are self-reported by businesses without any official affiliation or endorsement.
  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate services with any business for any reason. If the terminated listing is a sponsor, we will provide a pro-rated refund.
  • Galatas6 does not guarantee business performance or outcome, however we will continue to work to draw exposure to all business listings on Galatas6
  • Views expressed by our listed businesses do not necessarily reflect the views of Galatas6. Nor do the views of Galatas6 necessarily reflect the views of our business listers.
  • While we collaborate closely with business listers to ensure accurate listings, Galatas6 does not guarantee the reliability, legality, or accuracy of information on our platform.
  • Galatas6 utilizes Umami analytics for privacy-focused site analytics.
  • Any issues arising from payment processing through Stripe will be addressed to the best of our ability, though responsibility lies with Stripe.
